Christoph (not Christopher) Waltz rose to fame a few years ago after he was cast in Inglourious Basterds. I haven’t seen it, but he was just about showered in acting awards. He’s also in Quentin Tarantino’s next movie. He’s only done a couple of other English-language movies.
Well the poll fell away and probably wouldn’t come back again so I guess we shall officially declare Gary Oldman as the greatest male actor of our time! Someone write to the academy and the golden globes and start giving this guy some more awards!!
I was flipping thought the channels and realized that we missed somebody.
I’ve only seen him in The Mechanic, 3:10 to Yuma, and X-Men: Last Stand. He played a very different character in each of these movies. He’s the kind of actor that makes you say "This actor is good. Why haven’t I seen hime before? Oh, wait, he looks familair. Oh, damn, now that I’ve looked him up, I remember him from that other movie/show. "
IDK that his body of work warrants him leap-frogging Gary Oldman, but I think that he is better than most of the people on this list.
