The Dead Parrot, hands down. It is after all, the source of the one and only quote MPFC has in _Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations_. The one ending on “this is a dead parrot!” of course. ---

I voted for the Fresh Fruit sketch, but really it’s a tie between Fresh Fruit, the Argument Clinic, the Hungarian Phrasebook, and the Funniest Joke in the World. ---

How Not To Be Seen It has mindless violence, explosions, and a Gumby in it, as an added benefit, it actually teaches the viewer a useful lesson, how not to be seen ---

I personally like the Science Fiction Sketch (the one with the Scotsmen, Wimbledon and Blancmonges). I also really like the Hell’s Grannies, Camel Spotting, and You’re No Fun Anymore. ---

My nipples exploded with delight as I voted for the Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook sketch, although it was like picking the cutest puppy–they’re ALL so cute!! Ow. The poor Hungarian also wandered into the Spam sketch and got thrown out of the cafe. ---

I also am fond of the “Fish License” bit, and in fact taught it to my cousin when he was about 6 years old. We now spend much of Thanksgiving dinner giggling at each other, wondering when someone is going to bust out with “How did you know my name is Eric?” or “I AM NOT A LOONEY!” Voted for “Parrot Sketch,” though, since “Fish License” wasn’t on the list. Love me some Michael Palin. He is an halibut.
