Best movie title?

Laughing Target, not much of a movie, but cool title.
Samurai Fiction, cool movie, too.
Warbus, as bad as it sounds. US soldiers driving though the jungles of Vietnam in a school bus.

–sublight.

Outland, High Noon on the moons of Jupiter, Io to be precise, for me the title expresses the isolation and the remoteness of the location and of the main character.

And mojo filter, shouldn’t it be "Shaving Ryan’s Privates instead ?

Now that the serious part is done, for the weirdest and funniest titles, you cannot beat the Bs, especially the Troma ones. These are titles that you will remember :
Surf Nazis must die !
Fertilize the Blaspheming Bombshell
Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator
A Barbarian Nymphoid in Dinosaur Hell
Killer Condom

I know they do not fit the request of the OP (title fitting to the subject), but they are memorable… and they are worth a few chuckles.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

Manos, the Hands of Fate

C.H.U.D. II: Bud The Chud

Can’t Stop The Music

Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

Vampyros Lesbos

Deathblow

[sub]Oh, you meant REAL movies. My bad.[/sub]

Natural Born Killers

Perfect title for the subject matter.

Actually, I believe this one was ‘Shaving Ryan’s Privates’

and on that note, some other greats are:

The Cocketeer
Forest Hump
Edward Penishands
Little Oral Annie
Pump Friction
American Jiggler

…not that I’ve seen any of these.

I always thought South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut is a very clever title (y’all get it, right? Bigger, Longer, Uncut… ahh Nevermind)
How about Back to the Future? Now how cool is that?

My vote is for “Flesh Eating Mothers.”

Haven’t seen the movie, but that always gets a chuckle out of me in the video store.

I can’t remember the exact title, but it went along the lines of Fuck My Dirty Shithole.

So, no votes for generic titles like Primal Fear?

Actually, my brother and I once made up a Title-O-Matic that looked something like this (pick a word from column A, then a word from column B):

  COLUMN A COLUMN B

   Carnal Terror
   Fatal Rage
   Deadly Obsession
   Black Intent
   Criminal Heat
   Chained Fear
   Dark Madness

Re the OP, two of my favorite titles are from Fellini:

La Dolce Vita – Perfectly encapsulates the film and its themes. By not translating from the Italian (i.e., “The Sweet Life”), you get a lovely combination of both simple meaning and elegant packaging.

8 1/2 – Cryptic, confusing, and somehow very apt.

Oh, and I have to second detop’s mention (even the movie bites) of Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator.
