Haven’t thought about it to much but this one popped into my head while watching the golf tourney.

The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

Official names only,nicknames of sports venues can be another thread.

When the Flames first moved to Calgary they played in the old [Stampede Corral](http://venues.calgarystampede.com/facilities/stampede-corral.html). They were waiting for the completion of the [Olympic Saddledome](http://www.arcaro.org/tension/album/saddledome.htm), which is now named after some bank.
