# Best orange cheese for macaroni and cheese

+1. Same brand as I mentioned in post #32. This is good stuff and it works well and lasts forever. Like I said, I’m over a year in, with two kids who love mac and cheese, and I still have a lot of powder remaining.

Because orange mac & cheese is not the same as orange cheese. As Ace said eariler, even orange cheese turns a very pale yellow-white when melted and loses its orangeness.  
I have eaten lots and lots of macaroni and don’t remember any scratch recipes that were truly orange. The delicious guilty pleasure that is Kraft mac & cheese is, on the other hand, unnaturally orange.
