Some of you already know that R.E.M.'s Lifes Rich Pageant is my favorite LP by any rock-pop artist/group after 1971, so this was the easiest no-brainer for me yet among all these polls.
Oh – and what the heck happened to Ornette Coleman that year? Did he just sleep right through 1986, or what?
