Matt Dillon & Miss Kitty
Toby Keith annoys me lately but I do enjoy his “Should Have Been a Cowboy”:

I bet you’ve never heard ol’ Marshall Dillon say
Miss Kitty have you ever thought of running away
Settling down, would you marry me?
If I asked you twice and begged you pretty please?
She’d have said yes in a New York minute
They never tied the knot
His heart wasn’t in it
He just stole a kiss as he rode away
He never hung his hat up at Kitty’s place
I should have looked that up, then posted.

Apparently, JD has called himself Vanilla Bear as well. So it kind of goes both ways.

Vanilla Wafer, too.
Dr. Who (Christopher Eccleston’s incarnation) and Rose Tyler.
One of the things that sold me on the series. ☹ I haven’t been able to catch the newer episodes–is the same dynamic there between Rose and the Tenth Doctor?
