Dorothy Parker is responsible for some of my favorite sayings:
“The covers on this book are too far apart.”
“This is not a book to be put down lightly. It should be hurled across the room with great force.”
(I use that one a lot myself)
And, of course, in reference to _The House at Pooh Corner_:
