I’m as big a fan of Monty Python as the next geek, but…c’mon! Let’s get with the times and obsess over a show that’s NOT 40 years old. My favorite bits: -The Peanuts spoof in which Sally ties up Linus a la Stephen King’s “Misery.” -[the Giving Tree and his…less giving cousin over the hill](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_mnZruBvtw) (NSFW!) -[Gummy Bear](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-XzMkrIyIU&feature=rec-LGOUT-exp_rn-HM) What are your favorites? p.s. Yes the pun in the thread title is very intended. ---

[voila.](http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a25c39214b602990114b8a43a37012b) my favorite part is in the beginning after the door is slammed on the two detectives, one of them makes a short little quip, like Jerry Orbach always used to do. It’s not hard to find the videos as long as your in the US, just go to [adultswim.com](http://adultswim.com) and type it in in the search field. ---

Well, let’s see. [Beavis and Butt-Head join the Teen Titans](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4cW4LzIr4Y&feature=related) The Great Pumpkin comes to life and kills off the kids one by one until Charlie stops him with the kite-eating tree. I, Rosie, In which Will Smith accuses Rosie the robot of killing George Jetson. A Scooby Friday, which has the cast of the motion picture guest starring, as well as Don Knotts and Phyllis Diller. [8 Carrot,](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M-1MAV-q5w&feature=related) in which Bugs Bunny has a rap battle with Elmer Fudd. The one with warriors from HALO taking out [Donkey Kong.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zACaTznXW0o&feature=PlayList&p=A977006CF0C96FB5&index=36&playnext=2&playnext_from=PL) [The Calvin and Hobbes parody.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrst_KP20VU) I can see **janis\_and\_c0** beat me to it. Oh well. It’s worth another mention. The race with the General Lee, K.I.T.T., the Batmobile, Speed Racer, Jon and Ponch from CHIPS, and other famous vehicles and drivers. [Grand Theft Mario,](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRmDnNky53M) which finds Mario and Luigi taking a wrong turn to Vice City. The one which has Iron Man sneaking into the Mandarin’s lair through the ventilation system. ---

The Pursuit of Happy Days is an instaclassic, too. “Do you have any experience?” “Well, no… but I can do this …” (snaps fingers, three women appear) \ “So… you’re a pimp?” ---

[Cuddles fabric softener](http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=56302037cc14ca0d89600bf142110a0a). For clothes that are rapeably fresh! [Quicksand](http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=aa21003675eb19003911076020d0a18d) and how a giraffe copes with it. [Voltron Gets Served](http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=e07619050348e71ef4a100161db28f04) is a favorite, although I wish they hadn’t changed the music from the original broadcast. [Here’s the original song](http://www.gamespot.com/users/Toysoldier34/video_player?id=KyBlk2D-5bINuzDe). What the heck, one more, my favorite from the **Star Wars** special: [Lobot!](http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a25c392132b05a201132ba8567d008d) ---

[The Knights of the Round Table and Sir Mixalot](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYvcSjTeF7o) I also liked the Star Wars “[Ponda Baba’s Bad Day](http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a25c392132b05a201132b0f8750001c)” ---

Oh my word. It still brought tears to my eyes. I love the taciturn judge (“begurgh”) and the good chicken, bad chicken routine and the fact that the whole thing makes exactly as much sense as a real episode of Law and Order. Comic perfection.
