I’d nominate…
**Jordis Unga** (of Minnesota modern-rock band Liars Club, & serious contender to front nouveaux-INXS)
**Carlos Santana** (Yeah, I know it’s a totally ordinary name, but anglicised, “Santana” is fun to say.)
**Shakira Mebarak** , who performs under her first name. I dunno how her last name is pronounced, but I imagine “maybahROCK.”

and second…
**Grace Slick
George Thorogood
Leon Redbone
Joe Strummer** …unbelievable name
**Siouxsie Sioux
Jimmy Thudpucker**

And **Don Dokken** would had made the list with a cooler first name.

Jeff Beck is a kinda cool name, too. It’s sort of two words but you say them as one.

Van Morrison. perfect name for the music.

Frank Zappa has laready been nmetioned, but really, if his name wasn’t Frank Zappa he’d have to change it to Frank Zappa. And Zappa doesn’t really work with any other first name - Fred Zappa, Marky Mark Zappa, Moon Weevil or whatever the hell Zappa - it’s gotta be FRANK Zappa.

The bass player of a band I played in 15 years ago - **Lovey Bobby Favourite**.

I won’t tell you what my name was in that band as its too embarrassing.
