Pachelbel’s Canon in D

I haven’t even begun a study of classical (or other music), but I’m going to, which is going to be enlightening. This is a song that everybody’s heard and that you don’t have to know anything about classical music to recognize, and which is already renowned- if classical radio stations took requests, this would be a big one. I’ve gotta catch a symphony this summer (if they play the aforementioned).

Too bad many are sick of it by now.

Someone will probably move this over to Cafe Society, but before they do, let me just say if you like Pachelbel’s Canon (which is indeed a beautiful piece of music) you should look for a track called Rebel Heart, by the Corrs. It’s a contemporary instrumental, but puts me very much in the same"mood" as the Canon does.
