Andrew Gold’s [Oh, What a Lonely Boy](http://www.oldielyrics.com/lyrics/andrew_gold/lonely_boy.html) seems to fit the OP. This kid is so whiny that, _when he just turned two_, he felt so betrayed by his parents (when they had a daughter) that he left home when he was 17, hoping “to find all the love that he had lost in that earlier time.” Who knew that two year-olds had such delicate hearts and perfect memories! ---
