Ever since I got a look at my cholesterol numbers, I haven’t eaten many of these, but back in the day, my preference was generic duplex cremes (one side chocolate cookie, the other vanilla, with vanilla creme in the middle - I think the Oreo version is called either 50/50s or Heads Or Tails). ---

I almost never eat cookies (and when I do, my choice is homemade snickerdoodles), but I do love fig newtons and I’m one of those people who likes those Danish butter cookies that come in those tins. ---

I can’t say I have a favorite but I’ve always been a fan of Entenmann’s Chocolate Chip cookies. Also, can anyone recommend a favorite amaretto/almond flavored cookie? I had a few at a friend’s house a couple of years ago and wish I would have asked the brand. They were soft and delicious. I asked later but she couldn’t remember the brand of how she got them. ---

I don’t do cookies much anymore, but I like the wedding cookies, Pepperidge Farms Brussels and Murray SF fudge wafers. If I could find the kind of ginger snaps my grandpa used to buy in bulk at the local grocery, they would be at the top of the store-bought cookie list. ---
