With the new phenomenon of lowest-bid auctions, i.e where you win by placing the lowest unique bid (the bid has to be unique, i.e you don’t win if someone else also bid the same amount) I’m wondering if there is a best strategy to apply?

I am hoping for a more mathematical or psychological strategy than “perceived value - cost for participating”.

Thanks!
