The list that the OP linked to is pretty good, but one prominent omission is: Orphan Black And I have to mention a series that aired its first season in this decade but is going to continue into the next: My Brilliant Friend ---

Here’s my list off the top of my head, avoiding mini-series like _The Night Of_ or _Chernobyl_: _Game of Thrones_ or at least the first six seasons. _Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul_ I’m gonna cheat and lump them together _The Good Place_ the smartest dumbest show on broadcast TV _Parks and Recreation_ _Brooklyn 99_ (TGP, P&R and B99 all share the same creative family tree so no surprise they are all good). _The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt_ They alive, dammit! I just started watching _The Leftovers_ so I hope it lives up to its reputation. The first episode was good. ---

One great show that hasn’t been mentioned yet: **Spartacus**. It would have been my greatest guilty pleasure of the decade if I felt any guilt about my pleasures, which I don’t. It’s a pulp masterpiece, with more “FUCK YEAH!!” moments than any other show this decade, and unlike that \*other \*show about naked people whacking at each other with swords, it actually nailed the landing. ---

Game of Thrones - so hard to exclude this one. It would be like asking for the names of the greatest movies of all times and then excluding The Godfather or The Ten Commandments or Shawshank Redemption. Law and Order - This would be next on my list. A truly magnificent TV show. Mayday - a documentary type of program that documents all of the biggest airplane crashes. It’s not exactly a documentary.
