Yeah, I didn’t get what the deal was with “…aaand the rest” in the early going. The prof and Mary Ann were every bit as important as the others. It was very much an ensemble cast. This might be an apocryphal story, but I heard Bob Denver threatened to walk if they didn’t add the Professor and Mary Ann to the song.
