The company responsible for _BattleTanx_ was 3DO, not Sega. And yes, they were sued by Lever Brothers…twice. Even though it was intentionally made not to look _exactly_ like Snuggle, Lever must have found it an obvious parody of their fabric softener bear.

That one’s great. But I think I like my NES Legend of Zelda commercial better. The attempted rap about Link was great. 🙂

No, not “whatever”… I just bought an XBox, cannot justify buying a GameCube, and I want that game… 🙂

Too many games and not enough cash…

It is a great commercial, though

I stand corrected. 3DO made it for the Nintendo 64 system.

As a racing fan, I like the EA Sports NASCAR 2003 Roman arena commercial. I would like to have that track in the game in my computer.

The new Rygar commercial is pretty sweet–the idea of taking a chainsaw to a waterbed is pretty cool.

The MGS2 commercial is a classic. NFL 2k2 had one last year with a guy reading the instructions while poorly feeding a baby. The new NFL Fever commercials are decent, but I love Manning’s “Your defense if offensive” line. It comes out so cheesily, I just have to use it whenever I play someone in Madden.

> I’m also a fan of the “Live in Your World, Play in Ours” commercials. My favorite is the one with the old lady in the nursing home. She’s babbling on about defeating the Lord of the Underworld and how that damn Black Dragon stole her key. Her grandson wispers in her ear “Next time, use the magic stones”. And Grandma gets this big grin on her face.

> Works great because at first you don’t know it’s a video game ad.

I have been looking for a video of this ad forever. Still not having any luck. If anyone knows where this ad can be viewed PLEASE let me know.

Thank you!
