I get this for free too, don’t remember where from though. The article on prostate cancer was actually really good. The rest is fluff and seems to be aimed at pretty wealthy people. ---

Well, I used to read Maxim when it first came out. The soft-core pron was OK, but what sold me on it was that some of the articles were screamingly funny. Raunchy laugh out loud stuff. But then it seemed to fixate more on a younger demographic after a year or two and the articles stopped being so funny and I stopped reading it. Plus, as has been pointed out by Camille Paglia, who likes her woman flesh a lot, the photography in Maxim is or was topnotch – msot of the actresses and models who appear in Maxim rarely look as good in any other publication’s pictorials. But frankly, for sheer raunchy softcore, I think American Curves leads the pack right now. ---

Where can you look at a copy of Bestlife? Is it like GQ or one of those other “men’s” magazines whose pages are filled with images of men wearing clothes instead of women not wearing clothes? ---

Interested parties can go to Maxim’s website and judge for yourselves. I dunno if it’s worksafe or not, but it’s at maximonlinedotcom or thereabouts. They have photo galleries of some of their models in the non member section. I personally think they do a good job. ---
