I am quite saddened to tell you that we have a note here from betenoire’s mother telling us that betenoir passed away last week. ===== Date: Fri, May 28, 2010 at 9:25 AM Subject: betenoir To: [cecil@chicagoreader.com](mailto:cecil@chicagoreader.com) Cecil, My daughter, a charter member of your group, died on Monday, May 24, 2010. I know she would want you to know how much she appreciated what you offered to her and the world. She was an intellectual in the best sense of the word. She graduated with BFA from NYU in photography. Please let the group know of her passing and feel free to contact me for any further information. ===== I have redacted all the personal information.
