Um, grude, did you watch the trailer before watching the movie? That’s all it took to tell me a few months ago that there was no point to this movie.
Maybe I’m naive, but I trust word of mouth more than trailers.
You must know people with better taste in movies than I do 
Well, geez, will no one mention the absolute classic of the 70s, “Science fiction, Double feature, Doctor X, Will build a creature …”? I mean, I am no fan musicals, but come on, that was sci fi and it was very well done. Then there was Dark Star, which was rather low budget and very strange, but then, sci fi ought to be strange, otherwise it is just fiction with speculative elements.
