Cecil may not have laid eyes on one (at least, back in 1995) but if you google [images of “Bezoar pearls”](http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=bezoar%20pearls&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi) you can find some that look quite pretty. Simply googling [“bezoar”](http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&q=bezoar&btnG=Search+Images) is not as appealing.

Apparently a [bezoar](http://www.answers.com/bezoar&r=67) can be any indegestible mass in the stomach or intestines. I guess it’s not surprising that some indigestible masses are prettier than others.

This is a [link](http://www.ispub.com/ostia/index.php?xmlPrinter=true&xmlFilePath=journals/ijs/vol13n2/bezoar.xml) to a 16 girl’ surgery for removal of a bezoar.

WARNING!–the pictures are a little graphic in the depiction of operation. Just so you know…
