As **JRDelirious** noted, it can be found in certain hadith, not the Qur’an and in point of fact there is some dispute over particulars ( although **PF** ’s account is a standard one ). A past post I made on the topic:

Thanks **Tamerlane**. I’d heard the rumours, and the hadiths, but that was it. I was totally certain that it wasn’t Koranic though. Thanks for clearing things up.
