Sort of. **bibliophage** is consistent in that it’s all Greek. biblion - G - book phagos - G- eating **bibliovore** is mixed Greek and Latin biblion - G - book vorare - L - to swallow, devour ---

Also, a -phage is a microscopic thing that eats the suffix A -vore is a macroscopic thing that eats the suffix. I thereby deduce, without having met either bibliophage or bibliovore that bibliophage is a tiny wee person and bibliovore is a great big person. 😃 ---

Howdy All, Haven’t been checking in for awhile, so I thought I’d do a vanity search, and whaddya know - my name appears in a thread title! Coolest thing that’s happened to me in awhile, but in answer to your OP, yes,they pretty much mean the same thing. When I first signed up, I originally wanted **Bibliophage** as my username, but as it was already taken, i decided to keep the meaning but go for the much cooler (and more ferocious) sounding **Bibliovore**. ---
