Look: there’s really no reason why you should care if I have a run of Pit posts. If you have problems with one or another of my OPs, you’re certainly welcome to criticize like others do.
But if you want to make personal comments beyond the scope of the thread, you might should be prepared for a reply in kind.
Why? All I did was make what was intended to be a little light-hearted comment about someone’s posting pattern. And the guy immediately assumes I’m being hyper-critical. And responds by jumping down my throat. And since when is it assumed that person has “ulterior motives” simply from a comment on the quantity of threads another has started? Pretty sinister guy I am, eh?
Guess I should know better than to post anything that could be seen as criticism to a person who is apparently temporarily losing grip on perspective.
I’ll defer that question to Mr. Firefly. Since he’s the guy making the bald accusation, I’ll let him give you the story. You can then evaluate his claim completely from his perspective.
Anytime the mods want to close this thread, I’m OK with that. This thread about cops on bicycles has jumped the curb and is nowhere near the road anymore.
After the second request for a hug it seemed like you were baiting him.
Again with the baiting.
You insinuated that he had the problem in asking if everything was ok and pointing out that he had three pit threads started in 12 hours.
You are clearly baiting him.
I have no dog in this fight, but when you come into a thread to not respond to the topic but to offer a tangential criticism of the poster then I think the problem lies in you rather than the OP.
But that’s just me, I can’t speak for you or the OP, I’m just calling it like I see it.
Your team lose it’s home opener or something? OP
As far as cops doing illegal traffic mauevers, I’ve seen cops throw on the lights just to get through a rough stretch of traffic only to turn them off again and resume normal driving. I also see cops in traffic doing way over the speed limit when they aren’t in pursuit. They do quasi-legal stuff all the time. I have never seen a bike cop perform a blatant traffic violation like the OP did, but I would assume that if they’ll do it in a squad they’ll do it on bikes too.
