Ha Ha! What great finds! …I think the best thing ever auctioned on eBay, though, was a lifesize _driveable_ replica of SpeedRacer’s Mach 5, complete with lipstick red leather interior, a homing pigeon, front drills and other crazy features. I think it went for like $150+ K. It was rad. (Unfortunately, the item is no longer in the database so I can’t provide a link.) ---

Talk about finds! We were at an estate sale this a.m. looking for some old hand planes (spouse collects) and I found a cribbage board that was made of an acrylic sheet (with holes drilled) bolted onto half of a bowling pin. I have a friend who LOVES cribbage, LOVES bowling, and is getting married in 6 months. ooooh baby, a wedding gift for $4. What a marvelous find. It came complete with a cartoon picture of a skunk painted under the acrylic (for the skunk part of cribbage). Of course, I COULD auction it on e-bay… ---

I remember seeing someone selling the box to their Playstation. Some poor kid bought it for $40, thinking it was a real Playstation. Unfortunately, the title said “Playstation Box!”. Buyer beware. ---

It was a 14 year old boy who put his soul on ebay. Im not sure if kids can sell anymore. He got $5.00 for it & the buyer got a paper saying he owns it. Ebay actually had to make a public statement on souls. The gist was: There either is no soul, in which case the seller can’t deliver, or there is a soul, the sale of which is prohibited as you can not auction off body parts.
