Zelensky was standing right next to him. It’s not like Zelensky was somewhere else and it’s easier for his name to slip his mind. He was introducing Zelensky who was coming up to the mic. Unfortunately that’s a really bad gaffe. ---

Yeah, that’s a pretty serious gaff. It’s hard to keep overlooking them. It is. But we’re necessarily unforgiving considering the importance of stopping the other guy. I heard a report today that claimed the Trump team is unprepared to campaign against anyone else. ---

Biden in a room with another leader of a country is not something the US public ever sees. Ever (beyond a staged photo-op). That the German chancellor has a good opinion of Biden will mean nothing to most US voters. It’s great the chancellor likes him and, without out doubt, Biden is light-years better for international relations than Trump. But, that won’t win Biden the election. ---
