Actually yeah that is a key part of the discussion. Not simply read a teleprompter but perform well and read the room while doing it. That’s the job to come for four months. News conferences and unscripted interviews, hopefully another debate, also. I am agnostic to any Daily Mail level claims about plastic surgery or Botox, don’t care in any case. I do agree with @PhillyGuy that campaigning is a physically and mentally demanding slog. I disagree that Biden can avoid doing it, and if he is to be the candidate and succeed, he has to both do it, and do it consistently well. Rallies like this will be the bulk. That is addition to the somewhat demanding day job he has. He’s now had a two reassuring performances. Not quite there to reassure from his debate debacle. But at least enough to say: yet? ---

“The Democratic Party” chose not to have primary debates. It was a chance to sort this out before the convention. Biden’s claim that the voters made him the nominee was hollow. ---
