So it’s currently in its fourth season, and it’s been renewed for three more years. So now there’s no question about it—we _will_ see Sheldon experience Pon Far. The very thought curdles my blood.

Big Bang is much funnier than Friends. The best sitcoms are about a close group than become a defacto family.

Hmm…I don’t know whether to feel happy or sad about this. At first I thought Mayim Bialik or Melissa Rauch would have a negative impact on the show, but they seem to be working out so far. Tonight’s show was hilarious. 😃
I’m afraid that working on this series so long, the actors will inevitably get type-cast and have trouble moving on. For example, will Jim Parsons ever be able to escape from out the shadow of Sheldon? I also worry the show will stagnate and go into slow decline. And lastly, it means 3 more years to give the writers a chance to revisit Leonard & Penny, which they seem bound and determined to do. :mad: The thought of that prospect makes my stomach go “SQUICK”! XP

Funny. It makes me rejoice. Now they can plan out some multi-season arcs of “B” plots and hopefully get Lenny back together again.

Yeah, I love Amy Farrah Fowler. True, she started out as just a female version of Sheldon, but the writers have done a good job of making her into her own character.

It bothered me that Sheldon mentioned that Leonard was driving 120 MPH. Sheldon typically would have started panicking as soon as the driver is more then a few MPH over the limit.

He’s Eliza Dushku’s boyfriend, and she had her own small role in the show a few months ago.
Whenever I see pictures of him, he looks so artificial and weird, with his ridiculously white teeth and deeply tanned face (he’s of Bahamas extraction); It’s quite off-putting. It annoys me even more that he seems to be perfectly charming and a talented actor.

He was married to/had a kid with Vanessa Williams and appeared as her bodyguard and lover on _Ugly Betty_ a couple of years after they divorced. (Perhaps they were reconciled for a time.) Incredible bod.

Frankly, I didn’t think he was all that attractive. A good-looking guy, sure, but not so much that I’d consider him to be the best-looking man that I had ever met. His appearance is just kinda… off.

Ahhh, yes. Even still, you’d think Sheldon would have mentioned something as soon as they went over the speed limit, there’s no way Sheldon wouldn’t have been in complete panic as well as white knuckling every surface in the car and what was probably two to three times the legal speed limit, much less completely calm and relaxed. OTOH, maybe Amy is having an effect on him.
Also, now that you point out that it was Amy, it’s entirely possible they weren’t actually going 120 MPH, since she more then likely has the ability to exaggerate whereas Sheldon doesn’t.
