> [@Annie-Xmas](#): > > Or Bob Hartley waking up next to Emily, talking about the strange dream he had after watching Roseanne No. Dick Loudon (Bob Newhart) is suddenly jolted out of a daydream in the lobby of the Stratford Inn. Michael Harris (Peter Scolari) has been pitching his idea for a sitcom about a group of geeky science professors in Southern California who eventually find romance despite being socially awkward around women, and he hints that there may even be a recurring guest role for Dick as a crotchety former host of a TV science show. Dick tells him it’s not as good as his idea about two men who dress in drag so they can stay in a hotel for women. You know, I started typing that as a joke, but I think it could actually work. Wouldn’t be the same without Mary Frann and Tom Poston, though. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/big-bang-theory-to-end-after-this-season/820066.md?page=6)
