How do I hate “Big Brother”…Let me count the ways. It’s the crappiest, most pointless television show in the entire world. But enough about my ideas, let me know what you think! ---

Am I the only one in the whole of the U.K. who thought that Nick was a pretty cool guy? I mean he **was** acting like an arsehole but it sure was good tv. Now that he’s left and they’ve dragged that other idiot in to replace him the show’s gone downhill faster than roadrunner with a bum full of dynamite. ---

I’ve tuned in twice and could only sit through about 5 minutes of the show each time. The chick with the green hair is not very bright but something about the green hair makes her unusual enough to look at. The brown headed girl with the big face has something wrong with her. I think it’s that tight assed constipated look on her face that irritates me most about the 10 minutes of the show I’ve seen so far. One of the shows I watched had a guy and girl holding hands while constantly moving back and forth - the rest of the people were sitting down and talking. Could not figure out what was the problem with those two - Looked like they were doing the pee dance. Anyway, I don’t have the patience to watch that crap. ---

I’ve been suckered into watching a few minutes of it a week, mostly because my sister watches it a couple of times a week. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen (but let’s not go there), but lordy, it ain’t the best… ---

I gave up on this show pretty quickly. What a boring bunch. Only Cassandra seems to have any intelligence to speak of, and none of the participants have anything resembling wit or creativity. The show is utterly unwatchable. It _might_ work if they did a better job of choosing the cast. ---

Gomez—we have a whole different band of small-minded idiots in the US than you have in the UK. From what I’ve seen, our current house members are: George (homophobic middle-aged guy who Thinks He’s Funny) Brittany (slutty virgin with a different hair color every week) Jamie (purported “beauty queen” and hopeful actress) Josh (agreeable but dumb-as-a-stump stud muffin) Cassandra (intelligent and adult but rather humorless New Yorker) Eddie (one-legged mook) Curtis (scrawny lawyer, has hots for Brittany) . . . Have I covered everyone? ---

I stumbled onto Big Brother by complete accident; I fell asleep during Survivor and woke up to BB. Otherwise I would never have voluntarily tune in. But, wait a second and WTF, I know one of the contestants [is that what they’re called?]… I haven’t seen this person for about five years. I called Mr Kiffa who was up in Detroit visiting family to make sure that my lying eyes weren’t deceiving me. Never in a million years would I have guessed that this person would do something like this. Level-headed with great survival and professional skills; a good reader of people; sticks to principals; so WHY? This person is not a money grabbing, kill for gain type of individual. I’m completely mystified. I have even watched portions of several episodes. Sorry, I can’t bring myself to watch online. I heard that the show is live so I cant’ call and ask the question WHY. This is so weird; why would someone that I have always admired as logical and a clean thinker do some shit like this? Go figure ---

I haven’t watched a minute of this show (mainly because I don’t have a TV anymore), but they’re apparently going to be making an Irish version soon. Folks here are really peeved that whatever British channel it’s on won’t allow Republic viewers to vote on who gets evicted. ---

My wife got hooked on this show early, and still watches regularly, even though she admits that it’s gotton very dull since the two most “interesting” people have been banished (Jordan and Will). Personally, I think the producers should release hungry rats into the house while the contestants are sleeping. ---

CBS should leave copious amounts of porn in the BB house. I have been watching, and I rather enjoy it. I think the house guests should treat this for what it is. A game show, with the last person in the house winning 500k. Right now its a freekin’ love in. Eddy seems to understand this, and is the front runner(at this point) to take home the cash. George is stupid…christ, he’s annoying. Eve hit it on the head calling him a homophobe…If I cared enough, I’d vote the shitheel out…maybe I should call from work!!! Ohhh…that might be a good bit for my show. ---

Georges behavior this week has been really offensive! Two weeks ago, I thought he was a sure winner - now I think he will be out on his rear. Cassandra will follow, then brittany… Eddy is a sweetie, and I think he has the attitude to go all the way. ---

Yeah, but unlike Survivor, they don’t have to vote each other out. For banishment yes, but since they are not really deciding who’s staying and who’s going, they can afford to be all nicey-nice. Makes for boring TV. ---

My wife and I used to like George too, until he turned into a raging homophobic loon. And what the hell was up with that racist convenience-store owner bit? The scariest thing about it is, George is keeping it a secret from the other contestants. **He thinks this whole running-character bit is his _secret weapon_, that his zany entertainment will keep him in the house.** I’m sure his family is very nice, but I sat on the couch with my hand covering my face as I watched George making an ass of myself, empathically feeling the abject humiliation his relations have to be going through. Eddie can be kind of jerky, but he’s a bit like Rich on “Survivor” – he’s the only one who’s taking the whole scenario in the intended spirit. P.S. We voted **twice** to kick George out since the nominations were announced. Not that we couldn’t save the two bucks, but he’s just become so goddamn unpleasant… P.P.S. And could anyone else tell last night, Josh had it written all over his face: “Brittney is as good as laid”? And she doesn’t have a clue? Poor, dumb girl… ---
