# Big Feet: No Shoes

My friend, he has big feet. Size fifteen. World’s worst trouble finding really good shoes, too. What companies make good shoes in the larger sizes?

New Balance makes them big, and wide. I usually go to the outlet store in the Boston area (I have size 14)

[Wesco](http://www.westcoastshoe.com/wesco/index3.asp) will custom-build boots. Either “semi-custom” where you say “Size 15 EE, black lace-up with pole-climbing overlays” or totally custom where you mail them measurements and tracings of your feet.

They do work boots, as well as motorcycle and some western-style boots.

Zappos has a pretty good selection of big sizes, and you can even search by size. (I wear a 16 myself)
