I never used to have to use my hands to hold the phone when we had phones like that–I just crooked the handset between my ear and shoulder. One thing that bugs me about tiny and fragile cellphones is that you can’t do that anymore. Well, not without the earpiece/mike that always falls out of my ear anyway. But I could go back to my old and comfortable habits with one of those handsets. Thanks! ---

i’m going to get one myself. One thing I liked about the old style handset was that you could slam it down when you were mad. Now that it is portable you could actually beat someone on the street with it when they complain about you talking too loud. Well worth $35. ---
