# Big slowdown yesterday, bigger one today

For the first time in a long while, experiencing the old kludge city problem with SDMB yesterday and today.  
Takes forever just to get to the Board, longer to open any thread, impossible to post

My cable broadband is connecting at 8287 bps, so it’s not the speed, and every other website opens instantly. Anybody else having this trouble?

It’s coming and going, so it will probably slow down again shortly. I’m assuming that the hamsters are getting tired and are slacking off. That’s the trouble with slave labor.

A reminder: we upgraded from hamsters to capybaras recently. Unfortunately, capybaras are allowed as food on meatless Fridays, so this appears to be the source of trouble on Sat and Sun wheon one of the staff simply cannot wait to appease their hunger… 😛 :eek:
