Biggest Band Drop-off After One Quits/Fired

Triumph was rather weak on vinyl, but they did put on a good show. (Saw them twice.) However, “Hold On” has always been one of my all-time favorite songs.

Music chart trivia: That song briefly charted on the Top 40 at the same time as Ian Gomm’s “Hold On,” another great tune in its own right.

In 1990, the chart also had two songs on it called “Hold On”, one of them being that overplayed abominable feel-good treacle by Wilson Phillips, and “Hold On” by En Vogue.
