Another vote for Hannibal. Glen Cook’s conclusion to the Black Company series. He just ran out of steam. ---

My vote is for _Titus Alone_, the third in Mervyn Peake’s otherwise brilliant _Gormenghast_ trilogy. However, after reading it and being appalled, I discovered that Peake had become mentally ill in his later years. I’ve decided to blame _Titus Alone_ on that. Louise.
