Willis Alan Ramsey pulled ahead of the whole Texas Singer-Songwriter crew with [his first album](http://www.1000recordings.com/music/willis-alan-ramsey/). Each song was a gem–even a minor throw-away he called “Muskrat Candlelight.” Recorded by The Captain & Tennille as “Muskrat Love”–it was quite a hit. Willis has since traveled & sung but never released another album. Thanks to royalties from that song I now do not care for at all? ---

That’s the funny thing, hit singles tend to be departures for a lot of bands, so you tend to get polarization. I am not a fan of Aerosmith at all. But the songs I do like are songs like “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” and “Angel”. ALthough I gotta admit that “Dream On” is an all time classic rock tune. But most of the rest of their music is just garbage rock to me. ---

I wasn’t an Aerosmith fan of any stripe until I finally heard “Toys in the Attic” for the first time sometime in the late 90s or even early 00s. Holy crap that album. Anyway, I just kind of had them lopped into the generic radio-friendly formulaic 90s “hard rock” category (“Get a Grip” was released in my formative high school years). Boy was I wrong. ---

I love Police but “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” just turns me off. Kraftwerk’s “Das Model” is as sexy as the Amish Swim Suit Edition. Queen has written some magical music, but the whole “Kind of Magic” album, including its No.1-hit, is unbearably mundane. And I can’t return Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You”. ---

Long and Winding Road is a poor example of the Beatles. Free Bird. And I don’t mean that ironically. Lynryd Skynyrd did some great work, but the solo at the end if the song is awful. Elton John is hit or miss, especially his later work, but Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me is horrible. ---

With or Without You is literally the only song U2 produced off their first 8 albums I don’t like and it got alot of radio play. ---

For me, “Mississippi Queen” by **Mountain**. “Theme From An Imaginary Western” is awesome. Plus, “Radar Love” by **Golden Earring**. They have so many other better songs (“The Vanilla Queen” live, “Mission Impossible”) ---
