I would gain no personal satisfaction from watching trained monkeys and bears riding bikes. Who pays to see shit like that? I like zoos, but I sometimes have empathy for the caged animals. The bear should have eaten the trainers instead. ---

Whatever happened to “Send in the clowns”? (Traditionally, when something horrible happens in a circus, the clowns are sent in to distract the audience from all the gore. And yes, that’s the metaphorical context of the song as well.) ---

I feel that when you strap bears and monkeys to bicycles and put them together, that outcome is an inevitability. At least that’s what grandpa aways told me. ---

Actually, it seems to me like the clown following the monkey was the proximate cause of the crash, he’s lucky the bear didn’t turn on him. ---
