I was looking at [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=56433) and was curious to know if anyone (especially the non-UK’ers) has heard of Bill Bailey. He is possibly the funniest man in the world, if you’re a fan of Izzard you’ll love Bailey. (although he doesn’t wear makeup, sorry) ---

Bill Bailey is the King of stand-up comedy with music. He does things about Cockney music, mediaeval porn music, Star Trek and the crapness of Jean-Michel Jarre. Here’s a linkular thing: [http://www.guardianunlimited.co.uk/edinburgh2000/article/0,2763,356753,00.html](http://www.guardianunlimited.co.uk/edinburgh2000/article/0,2763,356753,00.html) and another one with a picture [http://www.komedia.dircon.co.uk/0011/200011012030\_c\_billbailey.html](http://www.komedia.dircon.co.uk/0011/200011012030_c_billbailey.html) I suppose all the other UK/Irish dopers will have heard of him. I just happened to be the first one to post. ---

I was wondering what Axl Rose has been doing since the band broke up. ---
