OK, so the archived MSNBC feed cuts Olbermann off after “Are yours the actions of a true American?” I just watched the more complete version, and was surprised by Olbermann signing off with the iconic “I’m Keith Olbermann. Good night, and good luck.” Does he always do this, or was this a one time thing? I applaud him for the commentary itself, but I can’t decide if I really like the ending. It smacks a bit of self-promotion and arrogance, as if he’s saying, “Look at me. I’m the new Edward R. Murrow.” I’m not terribly familiar with Olbermann, so what do you guys think? ---

**E-Sabbath** , those are great links. Should help refresh the memories of those who don’t remember the late 90s. Regarding Keith Olbermann, I was first impressed by him at least fifteen years ago when he was a local sportscaster in LA and during a sports report he went off on a little side-note about boxing being barbaric. Seemed like biting the hand that fed him, and it seemed like it might have hurt him, but it seems to have worked out in the end. ---
