YAY! Perhaps sweetness and light can get some things achieved after all.

It was a great move to send Bill - nobody believes he’s not connected to the govt, but at the same time everybody can maintain that it’s not an “official” visit

Bill missed a good chance to carry out a Georgi-Markov style assassination on Kim. How often does a westerner get that close?

Kim Jong-il looks like a ventriloquist’s dummy next to Bill. I wonder how tempted Bill was to pick the guy up, put him on his knee and try that old trick of the dummy talking while he drank a glass of water.
