To non-billionaires, at least. I read that Gate’s mansion is equipped with windows that can be switched to opaque at the touch of a button-is this true? If so, anybody know where you can buy these windows? And how much they cost? 😕

Such [smart glass](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_windows) windows have been available for 15-20 years.

electrocromatic mirrors have been in cars for a long time (I had a '94 with a rearview that could be darkened with a the touch of a button). My current car has a sensor that automatically adjusts its reflectivity based on brightness.
