It’s certainly a nice ideal to strive for, though. I saw his latest show (w/ Alec Baldwin, MD Gov, and some other guy), and he tried to bring up the subject again. They were literally dumbfounded. They froze, and just stared at him. Then he ranted and raved for a few minutes until Baldwin shut him up by saying something like: _Hey Bill, just cut it out. It’s like you’re on a date and all you can talk about is your ex-wife._ Then Garry Shandling came on, and he seemed to be completely blott-oh, out of his mind drunk or on drugs or both. The show was completely out of control. I laughed my ass off. ---

Bill basically got his ass handed to him on his own show; it was great. I think he tried to back paddle just a little bit from “Vax are evil” to “The jury is still out.” And yeah, Garry was a train wreck but still funny as hell. ---
