My take on it? When vibrators are illegal, only felons will vibrate.
I hope my homestate doesn’t follow suit. I’ve more felons than I can take care of as it is.

[Here’s](http://www.law.com/jsp/article.jsp?id=1090180191546) an article about a challenge to a similar law in Alabama. The Eleventh Circuit apparently found that while we have _some_ sexual privacy, it doesn’t extend to sex toys. And then there was the infamous case in Texas of the woman pulled over for DUI who had sex toys in her car…
All in all, I’m happy to live on the Left Coast.

What defines a sex toy? I have seen many catalogs with a back massager, that is shaped exactly like a vibrator, also I think you could get a anatomically correct blow up doll as a ‘fool the cop’ HOV lane partner.
But that beign said, WTF is wrong with sex toys?!?!

So I’m guessing if it went through, the folks who print those little “For decorative use only” labels to sell to head shops and their suppliers would just get a little more business.

Of course, people unfortunate enough to have an itch to scratch in SC might have to resort to mail order if they want a working vibe.
Thank you, Mr. Davenport, for addressing the pressing fear that somebody, somewhere, might be having a good time. How about some protection against that sort of pervert husband that always makes sure that his wife climaxes, instead of getting in-and-out in a jiffy like God intended? Any idea how much that costs the economy in terms of workplace production? It’s intolerable.

This could take civil disobedience to a whole new level of fun. Imagine the protest marches.
There is a Boiling Springs in North Carolina, right near the SC border. The part of the border near Spartanburg, in fact. I guess that’s his home rather than his constituency. But, they state that Spartanburg is is “Home County.” Since this is part of the SC government, I’m guessing they have their terminolgy reversed.
