# Billy Graham; he's one of the good guys, right?

Can’t help wondering if being the father of televangelism is gonna count for him, or against him, when he reaches those pearly gates. (One could remark the same about the personal wealth I suppose.)

What an opportunity he had for a teaching moment but he better not lose that access to the power. He denied making those statements for years and then the tapes came out and he gave a non-apology. What a guy.

I know I am replying to an old post but this really stuck in my craw.

I think the answer according to his own theology is: neither. “[Just as I am](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_As_I_Am_(hymn)#Altar_song_in_the_Billy_Graham_crusades) without one plea but that Thy blood was shed for me…”
