Maybe it’s just my sense of humour, but (despite myself) when I read that line I actually laughed out loud. And that isn’t something I do that much when reading this board, regardless of those who give the impression that they spend their whole time doubled up at the most inane comments. It’s in the rhythm and timing - “Humphrey” just seems to go. A more unpretentious name less resonant of sophistication is hard to imagine. But I can understand how being Dutch would make that hard to understand - when you have players with names like Dennis, Edgar and Clarence in your side Humphrey may even sound wordly 😉 pan ---

I clicked on one of those mini movie links from the NYC DopeFest and caught a glimpse of Manny. Not so sure about the “metropolitan sophistication” thing and he didn’t look like a Humphrey, either. Rather more like Vlad The Impaler to me - and I’m not talking sexual innuendo here. \ Of course, I could be getting him confused with someone else.\ …someone new. It’s such a perfect day…whistles…\ ---
