I agree that celebrating isn’t the way to go. I mean, really? We killed an old man, who is absolutely no threat to us any longer in his bed. And all it costs us was several trillion dollars, the erosion of some of our own ideals and rights, thousands of American lives and hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties (but maybe they don’t count 'cause they were brown and Muslim?). I can’t muster more than a half-hearted, eh… for this bit of news. Guy had it coming, but the actual achievement seems, well less of an achievement given all that’s transpired. ---

There’s no statute of limitations for murder. And I don’t buy that he was no longer a threat. The idea that he was sick and feeble has been blown out of proportion over the years.
