No. It just means that the International Community doesn’t have the will to enforce the charter against the US and that a partisan Republican Congress will never enforce the Constitution against their chimpanzee overlord. ---

I raised the Iraq war as part of a series of examples of a _tu quoques_ as response to a thread that was itself a _tu quoque_. I was then asked for a cite that the invasion of Iraq was illegal and I provided one. It’s not my fault that the thread has gone in this direction. My original reference was pretty casual and part of a larger point. ---

This item has been all over the news for a the last few days, and it’s a legitimate, deserving Pitting. Had Shodan posted about this in the Delay thread, it would’ve been a _tu quoque_. But I agree that other posters are at least as much to blame for the hijack, which is why I’m suggesting we not go there. I think Unclebeer had it exactly right in refusing to respond. ---
