If immunity from health effects includes not having to worry about cross-contamination from nuts/peanuts and the awful stomach issues I get from carrageenan, my first choice is premium ice cream. Second: loaded nachos. Third: brownies. Thank you, Pan, for ever and ever, ramen. ---

Poutine. Yay Canada! Nachos the way I make them - with chopped peppers, tomatoes, onions and corn, chipotle, plus extra cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and a big handful of cilantro and shredded lettuce on top. Chocolate covered nuts. Is that allowed? Because I like milk and dark chocolate, and almonds are good, but pecans are nice covered in chocolate, too. I’ll even take peanuts in a pinch. ---

- Chips & pico de gallo. Has to be the hearty, well seasoned tortilla chips though - no Tostitos brand crap. El Ranchero or Donkey chips will do. This with an ice cold Modelo is Snack Utopia. - Popcorn. No microwave junk. Home-made from a jar of Orville Redenbacher’s kernels. No butter! Just salt, or occasionally add some tobasco sauce for a little kick. - Potato Chips. I like Ruffles or Wavy Lays. Don’t need the flavored kind, just plain ol’ salty, crunchy deliciousness. ---

Somewhat related, our teacher in the 2nd grade asked us all to write down the answer to this question: If you were marooned on a desert island and could only have one thing to eat and one thing to drink the rest of your life, what would it be? Seven year old me said cotton candy and 7-Up… thankfully my tastebuds have evolved (a little). 😛 ---
