Come on! First of all, they’re just saying that because “interference from a weather balloon in orbit around Mars” isn’t remotely plausible. Second of all, I don’t even think there’s such a thing as a “cosmic ray hit.” It sounds totally made up. I’ll bet this “planetary scientist” (ha!) would measure the strength of the “cosmic ray hit” at 1.21 gigawatts. i honestly do not care about the location of the event in Roswell, though what bothers me deeply is the event off of the coast of Nova Scotia commonly known as the shag harbor incident.
