I wouldn’t say the first is the easiest, though, because… …there isn’t always a camera handy, and following them until you find one can be annoying And the second one has the issue of… …trying to set up correctly before the big daddy prematurely walks into them. Or you have the control slightly off and accidentally cross the wires or shoot them into yourself (both of which I did). The way I suggested is fast and quick and instant. I think my personal favorite way I killed one on hard just for the amusement factor was: In Arcadia, in the area where you get the flower. I go there first and hack everything before the rose quest by jumping down the enbankment and running to the safe area. I leave the preset trap wires up by ducking under them after I’ve secured the area. Later with the Big Daddy who shows up near the lab area (i.e. the second or third big daddy, not the one near the GG who should be the first one you see; this one is around the vending machine and crawlspace area you get to after following the stream near where you fought the hidden houdini), I fire a full 4-shot load of electric buck into him to get his attention and run to the flower area, jumping down the enbankment. Between the trap wires and turrets, the big daddy falls pretty quickly. ---

There’s never any rush to kill them. Just work on the level until the opportunity comes around. I finished off every Big Daddy in the game using this method.
